A Comfortable Way To Straighten Your Smile.

Orthodontic treatment can improve the position of your teeth with traditional braces or clear aligners.

Invisalign offers a discreet approach to orthodontic treatment using a series of custom-made clear aligners. Your trays are designed from detailed 3D digital scans and fitted by our dental team for a comfortable, personalized experience. Depending on your smile and treatment goals, your Invisalign treatment may be completed in as little as 6 months, with noticeable changes often appearing within the first few weeks. Since the aligners can be removed, you can continue enjoying your favourite foods and maintain your regular brushing and flossing routine throughout treatment.

A Straighter Smile Supports A Healthier Lifestyle

Straight teeth can improve your smile while making everyday oral care easier and more effective.

It may not seem important if your teeth are slightly crowded or uneven, especially if they are not causing you discomfort. However, tooth alignment can affect how easily you clean your teeth and how well they work together. Keeping your teeth in a healthy position can make daily oral hygiene easier and may help protect your smile over time.

Mild crowding or misalignment is common and may contribute to:
  • Chipped, worn or damaged teeth.
  • Food becoming trapped between teeth.
  • Difficulty brushing and flossing certain areas.
  • A higher chance of cavities developing between teeth.
  • Gum problems, which have been associated with a range of broader health concerns, including heart disease, arthritis and an increased risk of stroke.

If you are concerned about crowded, crooked or uneven teeth, book an appointment with our team for a personalized assessment of your smile and oral health.

I always find my experience here to be pleasant and easy. Margaret always remembers details about me that Iv mentioned to her and she will ask about those things the next time I come in...its very thoughtful and I dont know how she remembers! Dr. Hanna Lo and the dental hygienists are always thoughtful and make sure I'm comfortable throughout.

When Is A Good Time To Start?

You may have been considering straighter teeth for months or even years. Maybe your dentist has recently recommended orthodontic treatment to improve your oral health. Whatever brought you here, putting treatment off can mean spending more time living with concerns about your smile and may allow alignment issues to become more difficult to address. It is also important to remember that teeth naturally shift over time.

Your teeth may gradually become more crowded or misaligned as the years go by.

The more your teeth need to move, the more time treatment may take. Addressing alignment concerns earlier can make the process more straightforward and help you reach your desired results sooner.

There is no need to let cost prevent you from exploring your options. Treatment costs can be managed over time, and the full amount does not need to be paid when treatment begins. Our office can walk you through the payment options available to help make Invisalign treatment fit more comfortably within your budget.

What Can You Expect Once You Start Your Treatment?

Our goal is to help you enjoy a healthier, more confident smile by creating a strong foundation for your oral health. For many patients, that includes improving the alignment of their teeth so they fit together properly and function comfortably. Whether you are a teenager or an adult, it is never too late to explore the benefits of a straighter smile.

Your Treatment Plan

Your Invisalign journey begins with detailed digital scans of your teeth. These scans are used to develop a personalized treatment plan that maps out how your teeth are expected to move throughout treatment. Invisalign’s advanced software allows us to preview your anticipated progress and see what your smile may look like at different stages. Once your plan is complete, your custom aligners are created specifically for your teeth.

Your First Aligners

When your aligners are ready, you may need small attachments placed on certain teeth. These temporary, tooth-coloured fasteners help your aligners grip your teeth and guide them into their planned positions. They are designed to be discreet and are removed when your Invisalign treatment is complete.

Follow-Up Appointments

You will receive a series of clear aligners, with each set typically worn for about two weeks. As you move from one set to the next, your teeth gradually shift closer to their planned positions. Follow-up appointments are generally scheduled every 1 to 2 months so our team can monitor your progress, answer your questions and make sure your treatment continues to move forward as planned.

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Cost Of Invisalign In Mississauga

The cost of Invisalign in Mississauga can vary depending on your treatment needs and insurance coverage. With a typical insurance plan, patients may pay approximately $3,000 to $5,000+ out-of-pocket. Following an oral examination, we can provide a more precise estimate based on your treatment plan, including what your insurance may cover and your expected personal expenses. Without insurance, Invisalign treatment generally ranges from about $4,000 to $6,000+.

What Determines The Cost Of Invisalign Treatment?

Several factors can affect the overall cost of orthodontic treatment. When creating your Invisalign treatment plan, we consider:

  • Your current oral health and dental needs.
  • The amount of movement needed to improve your alignment.
  • The expected duration and complexity of treatment.

Every smile has different needs, so a consultation is the best way to determine whether Invisalign is right for you and what your expected out-of-pocket cost may be. During your visit, you can share your goals with our team while we assess your teeth and develop a treatment approach designed around your needs. If you are unsure whether Invisalign can address your concerns because of your age or the amount of correction required, we encourage you to ask. There may be several options available to help you achieve the smile you want.

Our team works with patients with a wide range of orthodontic needs. In many cases, treatment can be completed at our practice, from simpler Invisalign cases to more involved functional and cosmetic concerns. If your treatment requires care beyond our scope, we can recommend an appropriate specialist who can provide the additional care you need.

Don’t let concerns about crooked or crowded teeth keep you from feeling confident in your smile or caring for your oral health.

Frequently Asked Questions

Invisalign is both more comfortable and more discrete than braces. The clear custom-fit trays are hardly noticeable and most people won’t even realize you’re wearing them. Plus, they can be removed for important presentations or dates! The clear trays are also smooth against the inside of your mouth and don’t pinch or scratch like the brackets from braces. If your trays rub on your gums, they can be easily adjusted. Invisalign trays exert a gentler pressure compared to braces and only shift a few teeth at a time. That makes Invisalign orthodontics far more comfortable than conventional methods.
Invisalign makes changes to your teeth very gradually. Minor changes can be made in a few short weeks with little discomfort, and more complex changes can occur over a longer span of time to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible. There may be some discomfort, but if your Invisalign hurts, let us know.
On average, it takes anywhere from 6 to 12 months for your teeth to move into the correct position with Invisalign. Most people start noticing some movement, however, within the first 6 weeks after getting their first set of aligner trays. The more changes you would like to see, the longer it will take no matter what orthodontic option you choose.
Twice a day, remove your tray and clean it and your teeth before putting it back in. If you take your aligner out at any time, always rinse it before you put it back in, and try not to let it sit in open air when you aren’t wearing it. You may soak your aligners in denture cleaner or Invisalign cleaning crystals and carefully rinse them before putting them back in your mouth. Do not eat or drink with your trays in, and do not use toothpaste to clean your trays. We will provide you with detailed home care instructions when you receive your first trays.
Don't eat with your aligners in your mouth. If you expose your aligners to the strong chewing forces that your teeth are trained to exert, you can damage or even crack your aligners, plus it's just messy and not easy to eat with Invisalign in your mouth.
Yes, even when you sleep. They should be worn all day and night, except when eating and drinking. Your clear aligners won't work if they're not constantly shifting your teeth over time, which means you've gotta wear them!
